 Moana stand tall on white sand as she siad to maui. no i'm here to... maui allways time for fans. siad maui as he threw his boat on the sand as announced. ohooo of course of course yes. and he handed back mona,s oar   shouted moana as she grabbed maui,s ear.   you use a bird to write with ti,s called tweeting. and he cheekily snatched moana,s oar. i konw not everyday you get a chance to meet your hero. moana swung her oar and whacked maui in the stomach. you are not my hero grabbing hei hei out of the sand maui said. and i'm not here for you to sign my oar.

New Zealand Birds:
For each bird write 2 sentences about something you have learnt about this bird.

Ruru:
Ruru are owls, they are nocturnal They sleep the day and hunt at night .Ruru have big eyes that help them  Ruru see in night. They fly silently, looking and listening for prey

Pīwakawaka are small, but they have long tail feathers that turn into a fan. This helps them balance and turn quickly when they fly.

Kea _Kea are parrots. They live in the mountains _and play in the snow. Kea use their toes and beaks to hold things and climb trees. Kea are clever and curious.

Kereru __Kererū are big and heavy. They swoop through the trees looking for berries, fruit, flowers, and leaves to eat. Sometimes kererū eat too much, and they get too heavy to fly properly.

____Kiwi can’t fly at all. They have wings,but their wings are too short to help them fly Kiwi are nocturnal, like ruru. At night, they hunt for food like worms, crickets, and wētā.

Karearea __Kārearea are fierce hunters. They have powerful claws. Sometimes they catch prey that is bigger than they are! They hunt mostly birds, even big, fat birds like kererū. They also catch lizards,big insects like grasshoppers, and small animals like rabbits.
